Book 2 Is Coming Together Nicely. . .

What is the best way to render the names of four contributing authors on the cover of a modest sized book?

That’s the question we discussed with primary author, Roger Ellsworth, in finalizing the cover design for Book 2, so engagingly titled The “Thumbs-Up” man.

We think you will love reading this book. There is a wonderful variety of readings in it–from Roger, Sylvia, Tim, and Martyn. The book’s blurb is posted below; but back to the matter of how to render their names.

After discussion, we decided to inscribe the words “Roger Ellsworth and Family” on the front part of the cover, and then to expand this on the back part of the cover.

Let us know what you think of the design of this book HERE and be sure to ask us to let you know as soon as it is in print!

He would be driving to his work in his old pickup truck and I would be driving to my study. I used to tease him about that truck. It had so many holes in it that I dubbed it a “see-through” truck. What I most remember about those meetings is not the sight of his beat-up pickup. It is rather what Pete would do when he spotted me. He would smile and give me the thumbs-up sign. I never felt like I needed an explanation. I took his thumbs-up sign to mean: “Be encouraged! Everything is going to be okay!”
